People notice when other people stand up for their principles — and they’ll
notice when you stand up for yours, today. Sure, by sticking to your guns you
might make things inconvenient for one or two folks, but so what? You cannot
change your way of doing things just to make someone else happy. If people
consider it selfish of you to resist going along with the crowd, that’s their
problem, not yours. Be prepared to go it alone for the next few days if you
must. It will be worth it.
